By air Narita International Airport connects Tokyo to all the main cities in the world and is 60 km from the venue. It takes almost an hour to get to central Tokyo from the airport by train, on the Narita Express or Keisei Skyliner. The Airport Limousine bus connects the airport directly with Hotel Okura Tokyo departing every 60 min (fare: JPY 3,000). It takes about 80 to 120 min to the hotel.

Electricity Electricity in Japan is 100 V AC with 50 Hz cycles. Plugs used are flat-ended, two-flat-plate pronged plugs.

Currency The Japanese currency is yen (JPY). The exchange rate as of January 31, 2007 was 100 JPY = 0.82 USD or 0.63 EUR. Currency exchange banks are located at major international airports, as well as rail stations and ship terminals, usually in the arrival halls. All Japanese banks and major post offices exchange foreign currency. You may also withdraw money with your VISA card from abundant cash points in Tokyo. Use of credit cards is widespread in Japan , and most stores, restaurants and some taxis in Japan accept all major credit cards.
